The Specification, developed by CONSTRUCT and the Concrete Centre, is designed for use with Eurocodes and is a complete revision of
earlier editions. It contains the NSCS Standard Specification and the NSCS Project specification with NSCS Guidance to both
specifications. Edition 4 is a non contradictory, complementary document to BS EN 13670: 2009 Execution of concrete structures.

The specification, developed by CONSTRUCT, British Cement Association and the Building Research Establishment,
is designed to achieve increased efficiency through a definitive, simple, straightforward specification which
removes unnecessary conditions and facilitates construction. It is divided into two parts: Part 1 covers
standard construction, Part 2 covers project specific requirements, and Guidance notes are provided for both
parts.
See National Structural Concrete Specification page on this website for

This DVD is designed for use by site supervisors. It can be used to complement toolbox talks.
Its primary objective is to raise safety awareness in the erection and taking down of formwork systems.
|
 |
This Guide explains the procedural and technical aspects of the formwork, falsework and striking
operations for constructing flat slab in situ concrete buildings. It will be of vital interest to
all in the building industry involved in concrete construction.
|
 |
A wallchart, published in 1999, providing
basic information for the benefit of those involved or interested
in concrete buildings and providing essential background information
for both teachers and students. The wallchart will help students to
understand the complex operations and factors involved in building
a major concrete structure and will also help teachers and tutors
plan and execute their lessons, lectures and study visits.
