Post-tensioned concrete course

From The Concrete Centre.  Post-tensioned (PT) concrete is increasingly being used in the UK, particularly for high-rise construction where the saving in the slab depths can make a big difference in the height of the building.

This course will cover the basics of design, the benefits of choosing post-tensioning, sizing of post-tensioned elements and the construction considerations. The course is designed for structural engineers with little or no experience in the design of post-tensioning.

Location: Westminster Suite, Broadway House, Tothill Street, London, SW1H 9NQ;  Cost £165 + VAT.  More information and to book click here
